PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve environmental conditions surrounding gate circuits, and to enable improvement in maintainability and cost reduction. SOLUTION: A power conversion unit (1), which includes a plurality of semiconductor elements of which an arm device (6) of a power conversion circuit is composed, a plurality of gate circuits (8) which supply gate signals to the semiconductor elements, and a filter capacitor (3) connected between DC terminals (P and N) of the power conversion circuit, is housed in a common housing (20). The plurality of gate circuits (8) are arranged separately on both the sides of the power conversion unit (1), and the filter capacitor (3) is placed on the front side of the power conversion unit (1) and between the gate circuits (8) on both the sides of the power conversion unit (1). |
