<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording material usable as an electrophotographic liquid developer, having good dispersiveness, capable of giving high printed image density, capable of stably giving a printed image with high resolution and high chromaticity, capable of preventing contact failure caused by volatile components in a silicone oil, capable of improving preservability, lustrousness, bleeding and water resistance by using a liquid paraffin when it is used as a printing ink, marker ink, coating, electronic printing ink, and ink-jet ink, capable of improving nozzle clogging when used as the ink-jet ink, and capable of improving a contrast and responsiveness when used as the electronic printing ink, and to provide a method for forming the printed image. SOLUTION: This recording material contains at least a colorant and the silicone oil comprising a 100 percent linear silicone oil.</p> |
