PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitting site diversity system, with which improvement in communication characteristics at the terminal of cells where respective base stations are located can be expected. SOLUTION: Input data are first inputted to a CCU 100, serial/parallel converted, divided into the components of respective carriers and modulated later. The modulated signals are inputted to STTD encoders 12-1, 12-2,..., 12-n and a plurality of outputs can be provided. Such output is divided toward two base stations 101 and 102 and temporarily parallel/serial converted. Thus, the signal is inputted to a cable network, transmitted to the base stations 101 and 102, serial/parallel converted again and corrected into time signal of OFDM by applying inverse high-speed Fourier transformation later. These signals are synchronized between the base stations 101 and 102 by using a GPS or the like and simultaneously transmitted toward a terminal 200.
