DEVICE FOR DETECTING FALL OF ARTICLE ON BELT CONVEYOR

PURPOSE: A fall detecting apparatus of articles on a belt conveyor is provided to repair or replace the belt quickly by detecting fall of objects on a return belt accurately with moving widthwise against meandering of the belt. CONSTITUTION: An object detecting sensor detects articles loaded on a return belt, and a fall detecting device detects fall of the object from a carrier belt with placing an object detecting bar on the upper part of the return belt. The object detecting bar is installed in a sliding shaft(20) fixed in a frame with sliding widthwise, and moved against meandering of the return belt by a driving motor(48). The belt is repaired or replaced promptly by detecting fall of the object on the belt with moving widthwise.
