PURPOSE: An apparatus for diagnosing a data bus of a system is provided to operate a switch and offer a call service by periodically checking the state of the data bus during a CPU time and setting the state of the data bus as 3 states according to the state of the data bus. CONSTITUTION: A queue selecting unit(20) generates a data clock used for checking a data bus. A data bus diagnosing unit(50) checks the state of the data bus on the basis of the data clock provided from the queue selecting unit(20), and outputs an interrupt signal according to the state of the data bus. A CPU control unit(10) controls an operation mode of the data bus diagnosing unit(50) on the basis of the interrupt signal received from the data bus diagnosing unit(50).
