PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscopic system which enables a user to easily set component apparatus. SOLUTION: This microscopic system has two kinds of light sources 12 and 13, a stage 24 to mount a sample 23 dyed with a fluorescent dye, detecting sections 29 and 32 detecting the fluorescence emitted by the fluorescent dye of the sample 23, a memory section 35 and an input accepting section 36 accepting the input from the user. A table in which >=1 kind of the fluorescent dyes and the kinds of the light sources capable of emitting exciting light for exciting the fluorescent dyes are made correspondent to each other is stored in the memory section 35. A control section 33 accepts the kinds of the fluorescent dyes used by the user from the input accepting section 36 and reads out the kinds of the light sources correspondent to fluorescence dyes from the table, displays the same on an external display section 37 and accepts >=1 selection among the displayed kinds from the user through the input accepting section 36.
