PURPOSE: A method for igniting gas burner of kiln for firing ceramics is provided to reduce consumption of gas and improve thermal efficiency by forced-air blowing for mixing gas and air unlike conventional combustion method using atmospheric pressure. CONSTITUTION: The combustion method of gas burner positioned at the entrance of kiln comprises the steps of: supplying combustible gas to flame holes, leading to a chamber where ceramic products are stacked up, from a nozzle unit(110); blowing air to the nozzle unit from an air blowing unit(120) for mixing gas and air forcedly due to eddy forming. The nozzle unit contains the parts of; a gas supplying tube(111); an outer nozzle(112) with a first nozzle hole(112a) linked to the gas supplying tube; an inner nozzle(113) with a second nozzle hole(113a) going through the first nozzle hole; a flame tube(114) linked to the fire hole; a flame tube, leading to the flame holes, for supporting the ends of outer and inner nozzles. The air blowing unit contains a blowing tube(121), and an air chamber(122) set between blowing tube and nozzle unit.
