PURPOSE: A method for listening to absent call contents in a mobile communication terminal is provided to store contents terminated in the absence of a user using an automatic response function and originate the stored contents to a previously set telephone number so that a user instantly listens to the contents. CONSTITUTION: If a telephone is terminated in a state in which the setup of a calling telephone number is completed(S102), it is judged whether an automatic response function is set up(S103). If the automatic response function is set up, it is judged whether the response of a user exists during a certain time(S105). If the response of the user does not exist, an automatic response is performed using a guidance mention set by the user and the record of received telephone contents is started(S109,S110). If the received telephone contents is recorded, the mobile communication terminal waits for a set certain time and judges whether the user remotely confirms the recorded contents(S111). If the user does not confirm the recorded contents, the mobile communication terminal automatically calls the previously inputted calling telephone number so that the user confirms the contents(S112).
