<p>Connectors (100, 200) for use in a retaining wall (80) and a retaining wall having grooved blocks (1a) configured to receive the connector (100, 200).Connectors (100, 200) can be used in various orientations within the grooves (30) of the blocks (1a). In a retaining wall, a flexible geosynthetic material (90) fits into a channel (102) of a channel connector (100), and is held in place by an elongate bar (106). The connector prevents abrasion of geosynthetic material. The connector can also be a plurality of spaced-apart projections (200) for use with an apertured, relatively rigid geogrid (92). The connectors (100, 200) hold geogrid firmly in place, providing for increased connection capacity.</p> |
