PURPOSE: A camcorder having a rotary display is provided for a camcorder user to conveniently take a photograph by using either a left hand or a right hand, thereby taking a wide range of scene. CONSTITUTION: A camcorder having a rotary display includes a main body(20) of the camcorder having a camera photographing an image of an object; a rotary member attached to one side of the main body of the camcorder and of which plate surface is rotative toward the main body of the camcorder; a display(40) hinge-coupled to the rotary member for rotatively moving to the rotary member, and rotating with the rotary member when the rotary member rotates; and an operational part mounted on the rotary member for rotating with the rotary member, and inputting an operational command related to a photographing operation of the object and a regenerating operation of the photographed image.
