PURPOSE: A panel hemming apparatus for a vehicle is provided to use the surrounding equipments efficiently by forming the compact structure without a press body, and to actuate at low hydraulic pressure by minimizing the weight of the lower die with forming parts individually. CONSTITUTION: A panel hemming device of a vehicle is composed of a lower die(10) guided by a guide(2), and moved up and down by a ram cylinder(4) with setting an outer panel(8) forming a flange part; a locator(14) installed at both sides of the lower die, and moved to the right and the left by a moving cylinder(12); a pre-punch(18) actuated by an operating cylinder(16) installed in the locator to press the flange part with moving up the lower die; and a main punch(20) installed in the locator to press the flange part with moving up the lower die. The equipment is used efficiently with compact structure, and the hemming apparatus is actuated at low hydraulic pressure by minimizing the weight of the lower press die.
