PURPOSE: Disclosed is a dust collector with a rotating filtering room, in which the filtering room rotates, so that filtering and dust collecting operations are alternately performed, thereby preventing filter clogging, extending the lift time of a filter and enhancing ventilation of the filtering chamber. CONSTITUTION: The dust collector comprises a filtering unit(100) for filtering out dust; a suction unit(200) for exhausting filtered clean air in a filtering room; and a dust discharge unit(300) for discharging collected dust. The filtering unit(100) includes a filter receive cylinder(31), a rotating shaft(33) installed in the center of the cylinder(31), and separating members(311) for separating an interior space of the filter receive cylinder(31) into a plurality of sections. The dust collector further comprises a driven gear(25) installed at the bottom of the filter receive cylinder(31) and a driving gear(26) installed exterior of the driven gear(25) for rotating the cylinder(31) with respect to the rotating shaft.
