PURPOSE: A device for fixing a prism for an optical pickup is provided to prevent the prism from moving right and left by pressing the prism in one direction, thereby decreasing a defective rate and obtaining excellent productivity. CONSTITUTION: A device for fixing a prism for an optical pickup includes a base(10) installed on a deck to move following a diameter direction of an optical disk and having an assembling groove(12) at a side of the top surface; a prism(20) inserted into the assembling groove; and a tension member(100) formed by integratedly having a support part(102) adhered closely to one side of the assembling groove with a tension part(104) having outward elasticity, and interposed between the assembling groove and the prism to fix the prism at the base.
