PURPOSE: An air bag door opening apparatus for a vehicle is provided to reduce the number of parts and assembling steps by integrally forming a passenger side air bag door with a dash board. CONSTITUTION: An air bag door(11) is integrally formed with a dash board(10). A breaking seam(12) is formed at a rear surface of a dash board(10). The breaking seam(12) is formed by applying a laser beam to the rear surface of the dash board(10) after the dash board(10) is fabricated. The breaking seam(12) forms an outer line of the air bag door(11). As an air bag is expanded, the air bag door(11) is outwardly pressed, so that the breaking seam(12) formed at the rear surface of the dash board(10) is broken. Thus, the air bag door(11) is separated from the dash board(10), thereby opening the air bag door(11).
