A washing machine comprising a detergent dispenser in the form of a drawer (2) with one or more compartments (3) for washing agents. The washing agent is transferred via a passage (7) to the washing tub after being mixed with water. The compartment bottom is narrower than the top facilitate spreading of the agent by its own weight. A water distributor (8) mounted to the drawer recess may transfer water to both the inlet (5) of a water duct (4) reaches the bottom of the compartment (3) through the water duct outlet (6). In this way, the washing agent contained in the compartment (3) only partially contacts with the water, and the portion that has first contacted with water is directed towards the washing tub, thus avoiding the solidifying of the replacing agent due to wetting.
