PURPOSE: To promptly respond to access requests from more terminals. CONSTITUTION: An AV data transfer system supplies AV data which is recorded in a RAID(redundant array of independent disks) embedded in an AV server 12 to a personal computer 4 which is connected with a network 3 such as the Internet and the Intranet via the network 3 and records the AV data to be outputted by the personal computer 4 in the RAID via the network 3. The AV data transfer system is constituted of a personal computer 11 to transfer the AV data and various commands with the personal computer 4 connected with the network 3 according to a FTP(file transfer protocol) and the AV server 12 to read/write the AV data by accessing the built-in RAID.
