A sheet staple feeding mechanism (10) for forward feeding sheet staples by raising a feed claw (20), comprising a reciprocatingly moving member (12) installed on the underside of a cartridge storing stacked sheet staples and reciprocatingly moving in the longitudinal direction by the vertical movement of a driver driving out the staples, the feed claw (20) fitted to the reciprocatingly moving member (12) so as to be rotated by a specified angle in longitudinal direction and rotated in a rising direction when the reciprocatingly moving member is moved forward, and a spring (13) forward energizing the reciprocatingly moving member (12), wherein the lower side of the feed claw (20) from a rotating center position is locked to one end of the spring (13), and the reciprocatingly moving member (12) is forward energized through the feed claw (20).
