PURPOSE: An electric field function inspection device for motor vehicle door is provided to increase durability of the device by simplifying configuration of LHD/RHD door connectors, while shortening time taken for wiring the door connector and reducing damage of door connectors. CONSTITUTION: An electric field function inspection device comprises a drive side door connector(30) for common use of LHD/RHD drive side door connectors; a rear side door connector(40) for common use of LHD/RHD rear side door connectors; a check board(50) having connectors for each door type corresponding to the drive side door connector and the rear side door connector, respectively, wherein the check board automatically converts a door circuit which is constituted by the drive side door connector and the rear side door connector connected to connectors for each door type; a memory unit(70) for storing voice guide message in accordance with the state of connection between drive side and rear side door connects and connectors for each door type; a vehicle type detector(20) for detecting vehicle type in accordance with the position of the driver's seat and generating electrical signals in accordance with the result of the detection; a control unit for generating a drive control signal to the check board so as to convert the door circuit into the relevant type in accordance with the signal output from the vehicle type detector, and reading the voice guide message corresponding to the connection state from the memory unit; and a voice output unit(80) for outputting the read voice guide message.
