PURPOSE: A part detecting apparatus is provided to prevent a fault of an article by simultaneously checking whether or not parts are omitted when a sub-panel is inputted from one side of a welding jig. CONSTITUTION: A sensor(9) is installed below an upper resting surface(7) of a welding jig(3). A contact type detecting device is provided at one side of the sensor(9) so as to detect a part(5). A detector(11) makes contact with an end of the part(5). A switch including a relay is electrically connected to the detector(11). One end of a power source is connected to one side of the welding jig(3), and the other end of the power source is connected to the other side of the switch. When the part(5) is detected so that the contact of the switch is connected, a display section displays a detection of the part(5).
