PURPOSE: An engine oil composition having a low exhaust gas level is provided to reduce poisoning of catalyst for cleaning the exhaust gas such as NOx, CO and HC without alteration of wear-resistant property of the engine oil. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises 400-600ppm of ZnDTP based on phosphorus element in base oil; 250-500ppm of ashless dispersing agent containing boron element based on the boron component; and 0.05-3wt.% of dithiocarbamate represented by chemical formula 1 (wherein R1,R2,R3,R4 are alkyl groups having C1-C20 and Y is S, S-S,S-S-S,S-S-S-S,S-(CH2)m-S with m being integer, or S-CH2-CH(CH3)-S). The dithiocarbamate is methylene bisdithiocarbamate and the ashless dispersing agent containing boron is amide succinate containing boron.
