PURPOSE: A method and device for remotely connecting hardware using the network are provided to supply a comfortable working environment by separating a hardware device from a main body of a host computer including a CPU memory through a LAN, thereby separating a person from the host computer which discharges a heat and a noise sufficiently. CONSTITUTION: Input/output devices(320) and a hard disk(310) are connected to a host computer(300) indirectly, that is, connected through a LAN(330) such as the Ethernet by a remote control. Namely, hardware devices are connected or separated to/from the host computer(300) at a predetermined time dynamically. For a separation between a user and the hard disk(310), a network is constituted for connecting the host computer(300) to the hard disk(310) using an additional hard disk private LAN(340) such as an SAN(Storage Area Network). Thus, a velocity trouble of a data transmission caused by a limit of a transmission band width of a LAN is solved.
