PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling synchronization of a dual DVD player for showing a stereo-scopic image are provided to realize high resolution stereo-scopic image and actualize a stereo-scopic digital theater. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for controlling synchronization of a dual DVD player for showing a stereo-scopic image includes a dual DVD program system(2) simultaneously playing and searching two DVD players, and playing the DVD players at a designated time; a VR(Virtual Reality) multiplexer(1) transmitting a signal which becomes a reference signal to operate the DVD players by the same signal; a DVD player part(3) mounting two industrial DVD players capable of serial communication, a projector part(4) mounting two projectors capable of a large display; a polarized light stereo-scopic glasses part(5) viewing a stereo-scopic image by using a polarized filter; and a stereo-scopic screen part(6) surface-processed to view the stereo-scopic image by using the polarized light stereo-scopic glasses part.
