<p>A binding machine for gardening, wherein a stopper part (108c) is formed at the top end of the picking plate (108) of a tape holding device, when a driver handle (102) and a clincher arm (103) are closed, the picking plate disposed on the clincher arm is rotated to this side to allow the claw (108b) of the picking plate to pierce into the tip part of a tape (T) and a stopper part (108c) to collide with the tape guide (106) of the driver handle so as to stop the picking plate, and when the driver handle and the clincher arm are opened, the stopper part is disengaged from the tape guide and the picking plate (108) is brought into elastic contact with a tape support plate (111) to clamp the tape, whereby, since a strong tension is not applied to the tape when the claw of the picking plate is pierced into the tape, the tape can be prevented from being ruptured by the claw.</p> |
