<p>A slat bed system whereby the side rails, or a member for receiving the slats which is attached to the side rails, supports the slats in a spaced relationship. The slats can be received in a series of openings or on ledges formed by the above member. The slat-receiving member can be elongated wire or strip member, bent to have slat receiving portions and spacing regions. Alternatively, the slat-receiving member can be a roll-formed sheet of metal with openings and/or ledges with spacing regions for spacing the slats.</p> |
