A DC motor drive circuit for stabilizing the rotation of the DC motor just after power supply and for preventing its reverse rotation just after a stop of power supply. As the circuits for supplying a power source voltage to a DC motor (6), an unstable voltage supply circuit (103) is disposed as well as a stable voltage supply circuit (104) that shares a transistor (TR1) with this circuit. The stable voltage supply circuit (104) is used at the beginning of the start−up of the DC motor (6), and the unstable voltage supply circuit (103) is switched on when the DC motor (6) reaches a constant speed.
