PACKING FOR JOINT AND PIPE CONNECTING STRUCTURE USING IT

PURPOSE: To provide a pipe connecting structure allowing fully opposing a drawing force while securing a high watertightness. CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical packing for a joint 6 is interposed between a pipe joint 1 and an end part of a straight pipe 4 inserted into a cylindrical part 3 of the pipe joint 1. The packing 6 comprises a soft section 10 for cut-off at a tip part positioning on the inserting end face 7 side of the straight pipe 4 and a hard section 11 for preventing falling to prevent the packing 6 from falling from the pipe joint 1 by engaging with a member 19 for preventing falling fixed on the pipe joint 1 at the rest rear end part.
