STAVE COOLING TYPE OPERATION METHOD FOR ACTIVATING BELLY OF LOWER PART OF BLAST FURNACE

PURPOSE: A stave cooling type operation method is provided to prevent inactivation zone from forming in belly of the furnace lower part by charging iron ore and coke into the furnace in all stave type charging method and improve air-permeability in the furnace by increasing the gas amount on the wall side of the furnace upper part. CONSTITUTION: In a stave cooling plate type blast furnace for performing operation by taking a charging method per particle sizes of charging materials, the operation method for activating belly of the lower part of the blast furnace comprises the steps of charging iron ore(50) which is not divided by particle sizes into the stave cooling plate type blast furnace so that earthquake resistance index of 6.77 is taken; and charging coke(48) into the stave cooling plate type blast furnace by all stave type charging method so that earthquake resistance index of 5.50 is taken.
