Set=head for inserting fastening elements, e.g. bolts in pre=punched workpiece

The set-head comprises at least two or three support fingers (90) holding the fastening element which is to be inserted. Each support finger, centres, aligns and positions the element on its head part (22) as well as on its shaft (24). The support fingers are synchronously swivelable. Pref. a mechanism is provided which during working movement of the set-head causes the synchronised closing and opening of the support finger. The synchronising mechanism consists of a sleeve (88) for controlling swivel movement of the support finger.
