The current-limiting device has current-carrying high-temperature superconductor tracks (HTSL) applied to a circuit board (PL) for providing a line structure (LST) with series and parallel branches, or a closed network structure (GNW), obtained by replication of a basic line structure or a basic network element respectively. An Independent claim for a resistive current-limiting device is also included.
