The invention relates to the primary part or secondary part of an electric motor, especially a linear motor. According to the invention, thermally conductive pipes (30) are used to cool the motor part effectively. One end of said pipes is introduced into the core of the windings (20) as a warm region and the other end is connected to a fan cooler (40) as a cold region. In secondary parts, the warm regions are preferably arranged between permanent magnets and the cold regions are connected to a fan cooler.
