<p>PURPOSE: A hinge of a bonnet for a vehicle is provided to prevent a pedestrian from being injured by absorbing impact with moving the bonnet downward in bumping the body of the pedestrian into the bonnet during traveling. CONSTITUTION: A hinge of a bonnet for a vehicle is composed of a hinge arm(10) having an assembling hole(11) combined with a bolt(27), and first and second hinge holes(12,13); first and second links(40,50) combined with first and second hinge holes by shaft pins(31); a hinge support(20) having a hinge hole combined with the lower part of the second link, and assembling holes(21) combined with the bolt; a slot(60) formed longitudinally to separate a hinge pin(30) from the central hinge shaft; and a leaf spring(70) having a fitting sill(71) for preventing displacement of the hinge pin. The pedestrian is protected by absorbing impact with moving the lower part of the first link along the slot at a collision.</p> |
