Reconstructing buildings or building walls comprises applying a shell (3) made from calcium silicate to the inner surface of a building wall (1), preferably on an external wall, after applying a salt barrier in and/or on this wall. An Independent claim is also included for a building wall with a shell made from calcium silicate. Preferred Features: The building wall is treated with water glass or a medium containing water glass before the shell is applied. A plaster containing a mineral binder, preferably lime, and an additive for forming a high pore amount, is applied to the side of the building wall facing the room of the building. The shell consists of plates made from calcium silicate. |
