摘要 PURPOSE: Provided are a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) support made of titanium dioxide powder for flue gas denoxification and a method for fabricating the same, which is capable of effectively removing NOx compounds exhausted from thermoelectric power plants, incinerators, and various kinds of chemical plants and being produced by a simplified process at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: The fabrication method of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) support comprises steps of (a) rinsing meta titanic acid using water; (b) neutralizing the meta titanic acid to be in the range of pH 7 to 9; (c) adding tungsten oxides obtained by heat treating a tungsten oxide precursor to the meta titanic acid by 0.1 to 10 wt% with respect to the weight of the titanium dioxide power; (d) drying the resultant material in the temperature range of 100 to 200 deg.C for 15 to 25 hours; and (e) heat treating the resultant material at 400 to 700 deg.C for 1 to 2 hours. The titanium dioxide powder is characterized in that it has a specific surface area in the range of 40 to 100 m¬2/g and a mean pore size greater than 100Å.
