The motorcycle (10) has a luggage rack (38) mounted to the luggage rack mounting portion of a mounting section (34) coupled to a frame (12). A seat (26) is mounted over a portion on the top surface of the mounting section, such that a portion of the mounting section is sandwiched between the seat and frame. A front wheel (18) is rotatably mounted to a steering assembly (14), pivotally mounted to the frame, for supporting the front end of the motorcycle. A rear wheel (22) is rotatably interconnected to the rear portion of the frame for supporting the rear end of the motorcycle. An Independent claim is included for the Y-shaped mounting section configured for use on the rear portion of the motorcycle.
