PURPOSE: A clock spring of a vehicle is provided to reduce the assembling processes and the costs by reducing the noise due to a flat cable even without the use of a sponge pad. CONSTITUTION: A rotor(1) interlocks with a steering shaft. A case(2) surrounds the outer circumference of the rotor. A cover covers the upper portion of a space formed by the rotor and the case. A flat cable(4) embedded in the space formed by the rotor and the case is wound on the central column of the rotor. Many ribs(1a,3a) are radially formed on the upper face of the planar section of the rotor and the lower face of the cover. According to the structure, the frictional area of the flat cable is minimized when being wound or unwound.
