PURPOSE: A rotor for steering pump is provided to improve performance of initial starting of an engine and operationability of a steering wheel. CONSTITUTION: Grooves(113) are formed on an outside of a body(110) between the vane installation grooves(112) to reduce weight. A pressure transfer path(114) is formed between the vane installation grooves to transfer uniform oil pressure to vanes(120). A rotor(100) rotates in a direction smoothly even on initial starting of an engine to reduce starting torque starting the rotor even on cold starting. Oil is uniformly discharged to improve operationability of a steering wheel.
