PURPOSE: To form a getter mirror film of arbitrary form by irradiating laser light to a getter. CONSTITUTION: By irradiating the laser light L to a ring-less getter 31 of a quadrangle shape attached in an anode substrate 11, from the outside of a front substrate 12, and by evaporating the ring-less getter 31, the getter mirror film 32 is formed. If an irradiated point of the laser light L is moved along with a scanning line 33, in that case, the square-shape getter mirror film 32 will be formed in the circumference of the scanning line 33. A burnt part 34 of almost the same shape and almost the same size of the scanning line 33 is formed by the laser light L on the getter mirror film 32.
