DEVICE FOR CONVERTING BEAM OF HEADLIGHT FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A beam converting device of headlights for a vehicle is provided to reduce the size of the headlight and expenses by converting and combining high beam and low beam conveniently and promptly with a single bulb, and to vary the design of the headlight by adjusting the angle of a lens. CONSTITUTION: A beam converting apparatus for headlights is composed of an operating shaft(20) installed and turned in the lower part of a lens holder(10); a bulb shield installed in the middle of the operating shaft, and placed in the lower part of the lens holder; a return spring(40) installed in the end of the operating shaft; an operating cam(50) installed in the operating shaft; and a driving unit(60) converting low beam or high beam of a high beam bulb(70) with the bulb shield by driving the operating cam. Expenses are reduced with converting and combining the high beam and the low beam with the single bulb.
