PURPOSE: A semi-conductive watertight pellet compound for an electric power cable is provided, to improve the watertightness and the workability, thereby reducing the manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: The semi-conductive watertight pellet compound comprises 85-90 parts by weight of a butyl rubber; 10-15 parts by weight of an ethylene copolymer; 20-50 parts by weight of a conductive carbon black; 10-50 parts by weight of polybutene or polyisobutylene; 5-10 parts by weight of an adhesive resin; 5-15 parts by weight of a paraffin wax; and 2-5 parts by weight of a swelling resin. Preferably the compound has a volume inherent resistance of 10¬ Ohm·cm or less, a Mooney viscosity of 10-30 (ML1+4, 130 deg.C) and a heating mass reduction of 0.4 % or less (200 deg.C, 15 min heating) and has no dropping property (105 deg.C, 48 hours) and no delamination.
