PURPOSE: A sensor for detecting a water level and vibration of a washing machine is provided to stabilize an inductance value of a coil which determines the frequency characteristics for determining a water level. CONSTITUTION: A water level/vibration detecting sensor of a washing machine includes a housing(11) forming a body part of the sensor, a coil(150) positioned in the housing and formed of a self-bonded wire, a core(14) positioned in the housing to move vertically according to a water level, changing an inductance value of the coil, a core holder(13) positioned in the housing to receive the core, a water level transmitting element(12) such as a bellows or a diaphragm for transmitting a water pressure to the core holder, a rolling element supporting element(31) having a slant surface to be coupled with an upper part of the core holder, and a magnetic rolling element(33) positioned on a top surface of the supporting element to move vertically along the slant surface in association with the vibration of a washing tub, changing the inductance value of the coil. |
