PURPOSE: A method for driving a plasma display panel is provided to minimize the voltage value of a sustain pulse applied to a first sustain electrode since a positive wall charge is formed on the first sustain electrode. CONSTITUTION: A method for driving a plasma display panel provided with a reset period includes the steps of: sequentially supplying an auxiliary pulse(A) and a reset pulse(R) to a first trigger electrode formed at the center portion of a discharge cell during the reset period, wherein the voltage level of the auxiliary pulse(A) is set to make the auxiliary discharge occurred between the first trigger electrode and a first sustain electrode formed at the peripheral region of the discharge cell during the reset period(R). |
