PURPOSE: A pipe laying apparatus is provided to reduce construction expenses by decreasing initial investment expenses, maintenance costs and labor costs, to shorten a period of construction and to prevent the damage of a pipe by decreasing thrust pressure. CONSTITUTION: The pipe laying apparatus comprises a screw(10) provided with spiral blade members(14) on a shaft(12) and projected in the earth through a pipe(1) to be placed, a driving motor(20) rotating the screw(10), a feed unit(30) moving the driving motor(20) forward and backward along the screw(10), a thrust unit(40) driving the pipe(1) forward in a laying hole(5), and a support(50) attached to the shaft(12) of the screw(10) and provided with many rods(54) contacted to the inside of the pipe(1).
