<p>A congestion control system and method for a satellite-switched ATM network focusing on an analysis approach for evaluating cell loss probability in the case of non-real time services through a geosynchronous satellite ATM switch is provided. The method obtains accurate performance bounds in a relatively simple setting which is still complex enough to allow a view toward generalizations of the technique.</p> |
