PURPOSE: A fuel ratio control method of an engine for a vehicle is provided to improve the level of fuel ratio by changing lean/rich decision voltage value. CONSTITUTION: An engine control unit receives the amount of oxygen output from an oxygen detection unit, and decides whether the oxygen amount detection feed back control is started. If the oxygen amount detection feed back control is started(S100,S110), the engine control unit decides whether the detected voltage value(V) of an oxygen sensor is within a predetermined reference value range(S120). The engine control unit decides whether the time where oxygen stays at a lean position is over an hour(S130). The engine control unit changes the decision voltage lean/rich decision into voltage value position and outputs the appropriate fuel injection control signal(S140). The engine control unit changes the lean/rich decision voltage to voltage value position, and output the appropriate fuel injection control signal(S150,S160).
