CIRCUIT FOR SELECTING BAND OF SAW FILTER

PURPOSE: A circuit for selecting a band of an SAW(Surface Acoustic Wave) filter is provided to cover two different IF bands with one SAW filter by selecting a pass band of the SAW filter. CONSTITUTION: In a digital ground wave tuner, a circuit for selecting a band of an SAW filter is composed of an FEC IC(Forward Error Correction)(21) controlling broadcasting reception and selection; a PLL(Phase Locked Loop)(22) providing the corresponding switching signal according to the broadcasting selection control of the FEC IC; switching parts(24-1,24-4) selecting a terminal for pass band selection by the switching signal of the PLL; and the SAW filters(24-2,24-5) passing a signal through the selected pass band according to the selection of the terminal for pass band selection.
