HIGH DENSITY OPTICAL DISK AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A high density optical disk and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to generate a predetermined distance between a turntable and the high density optical disk by holding a protrusion formed at a center hole of the high density optical disk on an upper side of a center axis of a turntable, thereby preventing the high density optical disk from colliding with an objective lens in case that the high density optical disk is inserted erroneously. CONSTITUTION: In a high density optical disk where a high density pit pattern data recording layer is formed mostly on one side from the center of the optical disk thickness, a center hole of the high density optical disk has an asymmetrical structure based on a center surface of the disk thickness, wherein a structure(302) protruded inside more than the larger diameter of the center hole is formed of an ultraviolet hardening resin.
