PURPOSE: A time delay remote controller and a method for controlling the same are provided to protect units of audio equipment from a popping noise by controlling the time. CONSTITUTION: A time delay remote controller includes a power source part(10) providing voltage and current for operating a circuit, a micro processor part(20) independently controlling each remote output channel and measuring time, a delayed time setting part(30) initially setting up the time to be delayed by a user, a channel output control part(40) generating filtered voltage and current signals and controlling an output state monitor LED(50), the output state monitor LED displaying each channel so that the user confirms the present output state and time delay state, and a digital voltmeter part(70) displaying the present voltage and displaying the maximum, the minimum and the change.
