<p>Sustained-release compositions for injection wherein controlled release at the early stage and continuous release can be achieved by spray-drying a physiologically active protein while sustaining its physiological activity and enclosing it in a biodegradable polymer substance at a high efficiency; and physiologically active protein-containing sustained-release compositions for injection which substantially consist of the physiologically active protein and saccharides prepared by dissolving a spray-dried fine powder containing particles having a diameter of 10 μm or less at a ratio of 90% or above in a solution of a biodegradable polymer substance in an organic solvent and then removing the organic solvent in an oil.</p> |
