PURPOSE: A method for transmitting personal information using a terminal of a mobile communication system is provided to compose a visiting card with various shapes using the mobile communication terminal and efficiently transmit the visiting card to a mobile communication terminal of an object. CONSTITUTION: A user of a mobile communication terminal writes personal information data using a computer(S310), connects the mobile communication terminal to the computer, and downloads the written personal information data(S320). A control unit of the mobile communication terminal indexes the downloaded personal information data and stores the indexed personal information data in a storing medium. The control unit receives an index of the user, retrieves the indexed personal information data from the storing medium, and automatically dials a telephone number recorded in a telephone number item. If a telephone call connects to the dialed telephone number, the control unit transmits the downloaded personal information data by wireless(S330).
