<p>901,387. Crinkled paperlaminates. SCOTT PAPER CO. July 19, 1960 [July 31, 1959], No. 25105/60. Classes 96 and 140. Paper, e.g. towelling or toilet tissues, paperboard, or foil, or composite sheet material, &c., is passed between ribbed rollers, the ribs being resilient, e.g. of rubber or plastic, and the ribs of one roller crossing those of the other at the nip. The two rollers may have helical ribs, or one roller may have axially directed ribs and the other circumferentially. The ribs may have sharp, flattened, or rounded apices. Fig. 16 is a cross-section of the treated paper &c. A composite sheet of aluminium foil and paper may be treated by the method of the invention.</p> |
